ISPD / SASHG Workshop:

Sonographic and Genomic Prenatal Diagnosis: An Integrated Approach.

The workshop is a joint undertaking between the ISPD (International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis) and SASHG (Southern African Society for Human Genetics).  As on the ISPD homepage, their International Conference is coming to Cape Town in late 2025, and this is a build-up event. As a result, we are lucky enough to host 3 top-flight speakers from the ISPD: Dame Lyn Chitty (who set up Prenatal Genomics such as exome sequencing in the UK NHS), Prof Igna van den Veyver (Baylor), and Prof Brynn Levy (Columbia Cytogenetics). Lyn and Igna both have a dual genomic/fetal medicine background. There will be an opportunity to present challenging cases.
