About BetterGYN
BetterGYN is a new clinical care and governance programme aimed at significantly improving the quality of healthcare for South African women in both the public and the private health sectors.
The BetterGyn programme will complement SASOG’s existing initiative, the BetterOBS program which was established during 2015 and is aimed at reducing the number of maternal deaths in South Africa.
The BetterGYN program will provide gynaecologists and other practitioners with a set of protocols aimed at the prevention and management of serious surgical complications and important conditions affecting women. A total of 32 conditions and procedures will be covered.
We strive for quality in gynaecology via the BetterGYN program.
