Obstructed labour – postpartum haemorrhage and obstetric fistula: 19 May 2022 May 19

We are delighted to inform you that FIGO is hosting a webinar on 19 May 2022 at 16:00 UTC+1: Obstructed labour – postpartum haemorrhage and obstetric fistula. 


Using the case of obstructed labour, this session will highlight how postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) and obstetric fistula can be managed and prevented through best practice.


The webinar will explore key interventions to increase safety in the second stage of labour, and will introduce PPH emergency care using a bundle approach. Speakers will also look at the prevention of obstetric fistula, with a focus on iatrogenic fistula.
