FIGO has made the difficult decision to host this year’s World Congress as a virtual event. If the global situation permits, we may still have some sort of face to face presence, but the extent and location of this is still to be determined as we are currently weighing up the associated risks logistical practicalities.
It is of course very disappointing to not be able to plan an in-person world congress in Sydney. The decision as to whether we will be able to offer a “hybrid” part for the all-important personal exchange in October will be based on facts in the coming weeks.
